It all began with picking out the right wood for the right tone of this guitar. I started with Engelmann Spruce for the top. This gives it a lot of room for vibrations and making it loud. Then the back and sides are made of Requia, as it is from Perú and has a mid range tone to it. I thought the combination would make a perfect blend of loud, bright, and midrange tone. Once the guitar was built, I was pleasantly surprised that it is sound just like I had imagined!
